Sporty’s Wright Bros provides innovative, exclusive gifts and merchandise for aviation enthusiasts. We’ve partnered with a leading manufacturer of die-cast models to provide an annual limited edition model of the best selling training aircraft in the world: the Cessna 172. The result is a highly detailed, museum quality model that fits into any aircraft model collection.
Each limited edition model is based off of a real Cessna 172. Many of the models we have done are flying right here at Sporty’s Pilot Shop. This year, Wright Bros had a contest to decide next year’s limited edition model. Contestants submitted photo entries of their amazing aircraft with the hopes of it becoming legendary.
Congratulations to the Southeastern Minnesota Flying Club! Their Cessna 172 has been chosen as the winner of Sporty’s Wright Bros contest and will be featured as the 2024 Limited Edition model. You’ll be able to see their club airplane in great detail with a wingspan of almost 6” and paint that matches the real aircraft.
